Getting Started with Sousou: From Download to First Contribution

New to Sousou? Here’s a minimal path from download to first contribution.

Download and sign up. Get the Sousou app (or use the web app if available). Create an account with your email and a secure password. Verify your email if the app asks you to.

Create or join a circle. If you’re starting a circle, tap “Create circle” and enter the name, contribution amount, currency, and frequency. If you’re joining, use the invite link or code from the circle creator. Accept the invite and you’re in.

See the schedule. Open the circle and look at the rounds. You’ll see who receives when and when your first contribution is due. Add the due date to your calendar or set a reminder.

Pay on time. When the due date comes, send your contribution the way your group agreed (e.g. to the recipient’s account). In the app, the admin (or you, if allowed) can mark your payment as received. That’s your first contribution done.

Keep going. Each round, one person receives and everyone else pays. Stay on schedule, and when your turn comes, you’ll receive the pot. From there, you’re a full part of the circle.

That’s it. You’re no longer “getting started”—you’re in. Welcome to Sousou.
