Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sousou, including our public websites (such as the marketing site, blog, FAQ and partner information pages), the Sousou mobile applications, and the Sousou Admin dashboard (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account, joining a circle, browsing our sites where registration is offered, or accessing the admin dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Who May Use Sousou

You must be at least 18 years old, and legally able to enter into a binding agreement, to act as a circle admin or to purchase a paid plan. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including financial-services, tax and anti‑money laundering regulations in your country or region. Features, payment methods and integrations available to you may depend on your region, your organisation's configuration and what is enabled for your account.

3. Your Account & Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, keep login details secure, use Sousou only for lawful purposes, and respect the privacy of other members. Circle admins are responsible for how they invite, manage and communicate with members, and for configuring circle rules (for example contribution amounts, frequency, roles and how payments are marked) in line with agreements inside the group.

4. Community & Financial Disclaimer

Sousou is a tool to help you organise information about your savings circles—schedules, rounds, roles and payment confirmations as your group records them. We do not act as a bank, lender or regulated financial institution, and we do not hold member savings on behalf of your circle in the way a pooled account at a bank would. Many groups arrange how cash or mobile money actually moves outside Sousou; the app is intended to keep the social and operational agreement visible and aligned.

Any savings or rotation agreements are between members of your circle (and, where relevant, institutions you separately engage). Sousou does not guarantee that members will pay, that third‑party payment rails will always be available, or that circles will operate without dispute. You remain fully responsible for your own financial decisions and for choosing members and rules you can stand behind.

5. Payments, Third‑Party Integrations & Trademarks

Where we offer paid plans, checkout or other payment‑linked flows, transactions are processed by independent payment processors and financial infrastructure partners (for example card acquirers, bank‑transfer or mobile‑money providers). Those services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies; Sousou is not responsible for their availability, pricing, compliance or errors. A list of example rails or brands may appear on our websites for transparency; listing a provider does not mean Sousou is endorsed by that company, or that every rail is available in every country or for every circle.

Third‑party names, logos and trademarks displayed on the Platform are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe integrations or planned support, unless we expressly state otherwise.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not use Sousou for any fraudulent, illegal or harmful activity; to promote scams or Ponzi schemes; to upload viruses or disrupt the Platform; to infringe others' rights; or to harass or abuse other users or staff. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and software on the Platform (excluding your own content and data) is the property of Sousou / CreateEnsemble or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive licence to use the Platform for your personal or organisational circles. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sousou / CreateEnsemble will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data or goodwill, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Platform, any conduct or content of other users, any failure or delay of third‑party payment or communications services, or any unauthorised access to your content.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
